Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Assistant Manager - Sales to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth for our portfolio of books.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute comprehensive sales plans to achieve sales targets and market share objectives.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including schools, colleges, libraries, bookstores, and online retailers.

Conduct market research and analysis to identify sales opportunities and trends.
Manage and mentor a team of sales representatives to optimize performance.
Develop and implement sales incentive programs and contests.
Track sales performance metrics and provide regular reports to management.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective sales and promotional materials.
Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and exceeding expectations.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in using CRM

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in sales of educational or career-oriented books.
Knowledge of the Indian education system and market.
Experience in digital marketing and online sales.
